Molly’s Sweet Spot is a gourmet boutique bakery serving up the prettiest sweets in East Windsor, CT. From elegant designs to irresistible flavors, this is your one stop shop for all things sweet!
Our storefront case is stocked with an assortment of freshly baked goodies daily. Each week the flavors of our items change always leaving you wanting more!
We offer a variety of breakfast pastries including cinnamon rolls, donuts and muffins.
Pastries include cupcakes, classic cookies, decorated cookies, cakesicles, brownies, tiramisu, mousse cups and much more!
Small cakes are available in the case daily for walk in purchase.
Custom cakes are our specialty and we love bringing your vision to life!
GENERAL INFORMATION
Hand Crafted
All of our products are made from scratch and decorated by hand. We are a small bakery team that prides ourselves in the quality of what we make, including taste and appearance. Each product can be customized to fit any occasion for specialty orders.
Allergy Alert
Most of our products contain the following known food allergies: WHEAT, EGGS and MILK. Please specify any food allergies when placing a custom order or purchasing product out of the storefront case. We DO HAVE NUTS in the bakery. We clean and sanitize our tables and equipment throughout the day and directly after using any nuts. Due to nuts being in the building, we CANNOT 100% guarantee no cross contamination. Therefore, it is very important to specify on your custom order request form, or in the storefront if you have any allergies.
Ordering
Custom orders typically require a minimum of 4-5 days notice in order to properly accommodate requests. Rush orders may be accepted depending on availability on a case-by-case basis. If you are in the 4-5 day window or less, please submit a custom order request form and then call the bakery to see if can accommodate your order.
Changing A Custom Order
Once all of the details of a custom order are confirmed, you have until 1 week prior to pick up to change any details, including flavor and design. Within the 6 days prior to pick, we will not take any changes to your order including the size, amount, flavor and design.
Pricing
For custom orders, all pricing varies by order. Each product has a STARTING price that is listed on the order request form. Those are the prices for basic, non elaborate designs. For cookies, intricate designs, elaborate lettering, gold/silver color, or logos/printed designs will increase the price of the order. For cakes and cupcakes, chocolate pieces, chocolate drips, fresh fruit, gold/silver color, edible image, or the type of filling/frosting you’d like will increase the price of the order.
Deposits
When placing a custom order, we do require a 50% non-refundable deposit to be made. Once a deposit is made, your order is confirmed and the 50% deposit will not be refunded if the order is cancelled. if you pay your balance in full and then need to cancel it, only 50% will be refunded. Your custom order is NOT confirmed until a deposit has been made. If a deposit is not made, your order will NOT be fulfilled.
Inspiration Pictures
If you are looking to place a custom order and have an inspiration picture you want us to reference we can do that for you. However, we are artists, not printers. We will NOT 100% copy an inspiration photo as we cannot copy and paste. We will use the photo for what it is, inspiration, and add our own creative touches to make it a Molly’s Sweet Spot dessert!
Buttercream Not Fondant
We do not use fondant at our bakery. Therefore, if you have an inspiration picture of a cake or cupcakes that are covered in fondant or have fondant details, we will not be able to do that design for you. We only frost and decorate our cakes and cupcakes with buttercream, so we will suggest ideas and design something that fits your ideas and theme without using fondant.
Custom Order Pickup
When you place a custom order, you are required to select a pick up time. If you arrive earlier than your selected pick up time on the day your order is for, depending on the amount of orders that week, or time of year (holiday seasons), your order may not be fully completed and you will have to wait until your scheduled pick up time for your order to be ready.
Delivery
Your order total (before tax) must be a minimum of $250 to be delivered. The delivery fee is $2.00 per mile, round trip. If your order is being delivered, the balance must be paid at least 48 hours before delivery.
